I evaluate design that AI makes, and write down exactly why it works or doesn’t.
I’ve done it for model training at Mercor. First I evaluated generated visuals for a leading AI lab and wrote rubrics so different reviewers would make the same call. Then I compared websites, slide decks, 3D renders and animation made by AI, and wrote the reasoning behind every pick, with a 100% approval rate.
Most AI design looks finished before it actually works. The polish is easy to see. What I look for is underneath it, like hierarchy pointing at the wrong thing, text too small or too low in contrast to read, or layouts that only hold at one screen size.
I have a software engineering degree, so I can read the code behind a generated page or game, not just look at it. I also direct music videos, shoot photos, make clothes, and release songs in English and Mandarin. I’m native in both.
Slides, Websites and Games each show something an AI made, my critique of it, and a rebuild of what failed.
